Bowers is a community of dedicated staff, students, and families. The mission of Bowers Elementary School is to educate and empower the Bowers community to become lifelong learners who positively impact the world. We believe that students should develop a passion for literacy from the moment they begin school. We grow students' academic language through content embedded thematic instruction (SEAL). We support active participation in the arts through vocal and instrumental music, and theater experience. We encourage hands-on learning about the earth and environment through our garden education and composting program. And most importantly, we believe in social emotional learning, problem-solving, and kindness. Our students know what it is to be kind, and how to support others!
